Minimal requirements are an RS-232 Console port connection
to a terminal, or terminal emulation program (on the
host) for interaction with PMON/2000 on a Target board. Download of code can
be done via the RS-232 serial connection, but is far more efficient if you utilize
the ETHERNET port. Most SBS Technologies SBC's
and most of the Palomar 'baseboard' configurations support some form of ETHERNET
port. PMON/2000 allows direct bootloading and execution of 32-Bit ELF binaries
using these download methods.
